Well, probably not everything but here goes:

At Highland, Children's Ministry includes all children from birth up to the end of Grade 6. And we have different programs for the children depending on where they fit.

If you are looking for information about our Sunday morning programs then check out the Nursery, Toddler & Pre-School for all children who have not yet started JK, and check out the AdventureLand section for all children in JK-Gr. 6.

Nursery, Toddler & Pre-School

On Sunday mornings our youngest children can find themselves in several different locations throughout our building.

First, they are welcome to stay with you in the service. That is often where they feel the most comfortable. And a bit of noise reminds us that young life is so precious.

We also have a fully staffed nursery and toddler room downstairs where we would be so happy to care for your young ones during the service. There are toys to be played with, books to be read, and leaders ready to compassionately care for your children.

And we have a third option. In the back of the sanctuary we have a cozy setup where you can be with your child in a child-friendly space and, at the same time, you can still see and hear everything going on in the worship service.

The choice, as always, is entirely up to you.

AdventureLand is our Sunday morning worship service just for kids.

Every child in JK-Grade 6 begins their Sunday morning at church with all of the grown-ups upstairs in the sanctuary. When they are invited, they are welcome to come downstairs with their leaders for a time of bible stories and songs, activities and conversations.

The children will begin each AdventureLand in a large group, welcoming one another, singing together, and watching the bible story before joining their small groups, each one tailored to their grades and learning levels

Each month there is a theme, a virtue and a bible verse. And each week there is a new bible story and a new bottom line to help the children remember the main point of the story.
